Is this a good idea for a story for fun?

I got excited when I heard spoof of clic horror. Sounds really funny but I'm not sure where you're going with a cross dresser/gangster..? It might be useful to read Castle of Otranto. It's the first gothic novel, written in 1764. It's hilarious, the woman just keeps fainting for no reason.
