I have a guy friend problem?

I have this guy friend who I think has a crush on me. Yesterday he kissed the back of my head and monday he put his arm around me, twice. We used to date but it didn't work out, 3 times. I already have a nother guy i have a crush on and i think he might ask me out soon. I'm afriad to talk to my guy friend because i'm not sure that he likes me. Every one says that we would be a cute couple but i don't want to go out with him. And he is my friend so i don't want to hurt him. I don't know what to do. If i do talk to him, what do i say to let him down easy? Please, help would be appreicated!
