Is it common to use one's left and right brain equally?

Actually no , it's not common because if most people were able to do so we'd all have high IQ's. The benefits are cognitive functioning on a higher level, the left brain allowing you to think logically and the right brain allowing you to think creatively , so to be able to do both on a high level would make you a genius (or close to it). I'm right brain in that i LOVE to dance , but at the same time i challenge my left through critical reading, puzzles etc. Because let's face it , on average, right brain people have a very interesting time getting good jobs to say the least.
