What exactly is our "vital national security interest" in our military action in Libya?

This is Obama's Iraq is it not... except some can say we had good reason to enter Iraq. But at the end of the day it is another war we are involved in. Oil is lead reason in my mind. It is rather strange the media doesn't cover this war very much... no death counts on commercial breaks, no breaking stories on how we are killing innocent civilians and children any more. Yet we are in 3 wars now.
