A financial aid question.......?

my girlfriend has 3 student loans,and when she applied for them it was basically" here it is,good luck".well,she now wants to consolidate them but is having a difficult time finding a reputable institution to deal with.it seems that the companies she acquired the loans from really doesn't care about her situation and is not very helpful regarding her problem.she's all but given up trying but i want to see if there's other options for her.maybe a financial advisor,just something.any help is greatly appreciated.also,is there anything I can do to help such as make phone calls,represent her in any way possible?i understand that it's her personal information and i might not be allowed access to it(she's ok with me trying,but i'm not sure if the institutions will cooperate).again,thank you for any help you can provide.
