No, strays can not be taught to use a litter box. Your asking to be bit if you try to bathe a stray, stray cats are not very nice. My cat did not like my husband at first she would not eat when he feed her. The stray most likely has fleas. My husband tried to pick up a stray years ago and was bitten and scratched on the neck!!
