Warning: Graphic info: But what do you think happened to my Pour little horse?

I feel bad for you and that way the game warden handdled that was wrong. Try bringing up to the local officials that you want the lions to be taged and collared so that their movements can be recorded and they can be tracked down if they start making their homes to close to humans and only go after farm animals as prey, Similar to what yellow stone does with their wolves and buffalo. I am so sorry this happened I work at a park as a ranger but it is a different kind of ranger. The park I work at is yes is close with wildlife parks but we have many domestic and wildlife animals we care for and we opporate much like a zoo. We have had mountain lions housed here and I have no idea what i would have done if one got out and attacked our horses and cattle. Unfortunetly no amount of electric wire is going to stop them unless you may a 10 plus foot wall of pure electric wire. My biggest suggestion would be to resreach farm animals, dog and other animal and purchase them. Thre are a few animals i know are highly protective of the herd and there are some dogs bred to hunt lions and I would invest in purchasing 3-4 of them and have them live with your herd. There is always the risk that whatever animal you choose could potentially lose its life for the herd. I wish you the best of luck and I am sorry about what happened.
