What do i do to get this girl?

So, there is this one girl i�ve liked for a while now. When i met her she had a boyfriend, we became really close friends and a week after she broke up from a year and a half relationship, she said she liked me, and we kissed. We hang out with friends and everything, but she said she needed time to get over her recent breakup because the guy had cheated on her with 2 different girls. So as requested, i played it a little bit slower. After a while, it felt as if she was my girlfriend, we acted as a couple, but it wasnt official though. After a month of keeping this up, she tells me there are 2 other guys who are trying to get her, and that she is cofused. She told me that one of them had no future, but the other one had some potential... She asked me for space and ****. Deep inside i knew it was because she wanted to see the other guy. i think she likes the other guy, and she wants to get to know him better. I really like her! Two days ago she said to a close friend who is also a close friend of mine as well, that no matter how hard she tries to like me, she can�t. She said "He is SO perfect, but i cant see him as something else than friends for some reason.. it�s like i cant fall for him" WTF she said she liked me in the first place, she was the one who told me literally she wanted to kiss me. I think she really likes the other guy. We are both 16 and the guy is 19... I think girls at this age like to date older guys. Maybe she told her friend that because that was the only way in which she could end things with me without getting her reputation get screwed. I mean, everybody thinks she is a for what she did to me. But i really like her, do you think there is a chance to get her back? is there something i can do to prove her that i am better than the other guy??
