How do i remove a stiker stain on a pair of shorts?

hey!! ok well i have the Nike Tempo Shorts, so they are like shorts shorts, and i had put a sticker on it, and i forgot to take is off, and my mom washed them without seeing it, and i was wondering if you know what i can use to get if off the shorts, but please only tell me, if you actuallt tried it or it worked for someone you kow. thank you!!
