Why is Scientology a CULT?

I think it's best to let people be people. I was once in the church and found a critical forum and made some friends and acquaintances there. The people I listened to were the ones who didn't hle me or tell me what I should or shouldn't do. But I did keep looking at the information and this led to my leaving the Church of Scientology.
